Tank Washing Nozzles for the Food and Beverage Industry

The food and beverage industry presents some unique engineering challenges for tank cleaning.

Hygienic tank washing nozzles

Any equipment used to process food will clearly have to meet strict hygiene standards. The materials of construction must be resistant, or at least not condusive too, bacterial growth so 316 stainless steel is an industry standard material for all our tank washing systems. PTFE (Teflon) is also a widely used hygienic material that meets regulatory requirements.

Self cleaning Nozzles

BETE also produces self cleaning tank washing systems. The Oribitor and Hydrowhirl (S & P) systems use a small fraction of the water to clean the actual tank washer itself. These self cleaning nozzles meet the highest standards of hygienic design.

Self Lubricating Nozzles

All rotary nozzles require lubrication to function. Potential contamination of food by lubricating fluids is clearly a concern. All BETE rotary nozzles are therefore self lubricating meaning no lubricating fluids are used at all thus eliminating any chance of contamination.

Ultra Efficient

The BETE HydroWhirl range of rotary flat fan and rotary solid stream (Orbitor) tank cleaning machines offer highly efficient tank cleaning. Water usage from such systems can be dramatically lower when compared to static tank cleaning systems. This efficiency can save both time and money meaning the higher initial cost of the rotary system will often pay for itself in a matter of months.

Complete Range of Nozzles

The variation in tank size and types of residue being cleaned within the food and beverage industry is huge. BETE pride ourselves on having a complete range of tank washers drawing from a variety of different designs. This breadth of range means we can give unbiased advice on the correct tank cleaning system for our customers needs.

Our tank washers range from nozzles for cleaning individual bottles through to systems that will clean the largest storage tanks and silos. Whether its the simple rinsing of an easily soluble residue through to burnt on stubborn deposits BETE have a suitable tank washer.
