Omnidirectional Spray Nozzles - Static

As the name would suggest these nozzles are stationary. They come in two main designs.

Spirals

This design of nozzle works by impacting the fluid on a spiral shape which causes the liquid to break apart into droplets. Spiral nozzles come in many different configurations and normally are shaped to produce full or hollow cone patterns, however, by altering the topology of the spiral 270o or 360o spray patterns can be produced from a single nozzle. Normally these nozzles are used for tank cleaning applications as illustrated below.

Spray Balls

These are effectively many nozzles in one. A single sphere is perforated with holes to achieve multiple sprays. It could be argued as to whether this is a single or multiple nozzles
